Construction Of A New Campus For Skillern Elementary is Underway!
Skillern Elementary is a public charter school located in the city, serving students in grades K-3, committed to providing a Tennessee classical education. The curriculum is focused on incorporating a mix of traditional and cutting-edge teaching methods. Teachers utilize both indoor and outdoor classrooms, using direct contact with nature as a tool for student learning. The newly acquired school campus is situated at a site previously used for rock harvesting, at 8459 Springfield Road.
They have been able to break ground, and construction of the new elementary campus is underway! Angie Markum, the school’s founder and CEO, stated that we hope to see the new campus open in Fall of 2025.
